Acceptance of Terms
In order to receive and enjoy the services of RelayMonkey you agree to the following terms, which are subject to change without notice to you. The most recent terms of service will always be posted at this URL: http://www.relaymonkey.com/termsofservice.php.
Right to deny or mediate service
RelayMonkey has the right to remove, block or deny the signup, ping or dispatch of any blog it feels does not publish content to certain standards acceptable to it's signed up readers. However, RelayMonkey is not responsible for any blog that is dispatched that may offend or negatively affect the signed up reader.
RelayMonkey has the right to remove, block or deny a subscription to any user it determines has abused or intends to abuse RelayMonkey's update service.
Ownership of relayed blog content
Any blog content dispatched to or through RelayMonkey remains owned by the blogger or authoring body.
The blogger is liable for the content in their post, including words, meaning, links, media and code relayed in their blog post.
Under no circumstances will RelayMonkey edit, correct or fix or be responsible for the editing, correction or fixing of any blog post content dispatched to or through its service.
By pinging and dispatching their content to or through RelayMonkey, the blogger agrees to allow RelayMonkey to include and re-post that content in the following ways:
1. In whole or in part, based on content and description obtained via the blog's RSS, automatic or manual scraping, polling or review.
2. As part of an update e-mail or text message, be it instant, daily or weekly, to a signed up reader.
3. As an example of the type of posts and content that the blog provides.
4. As part of a single or aggregated display on RelayMonkey's web site, mobile client or desktop application.
RelayMonkey will make every effort to display and associate, when available and optimal for the user, the blog entry with the blog's name, author, URL and post URL in tact.
RelayMonkey does not guarantee that any updates made to a blog post, after it has been dispatched to or through RelayMonkey, will be applied to that dispatched content.
Once blog post content is relayed to a signed up reader, RelayMonkey has no control of and is not responsible for what the signed up reader does with the content. The expectation is that the signed up reader will receive the relay and, if interested, click on the supplied post link to access the post through RelayMonkey on the blogger's blog. The blogger should be prepared for further activity from the signed up reader, such as the signed up reader forwarding that dispatch or re-posting the content themselves.
The signed up reader is a customer of RelayMonkey
The blogger has no control or influence on RelayMonkey about who can sign up for instant updates to their blog.
The only part of a signed up reader's data available to the blogger outside of the RelayMonkey site, is the signed up reader's name or screen name, provided that the signed up reader does not choose to hide their identity completely upon signing up. Should the signed up reader choose not to hide their name or screen name, than that name or screen name could be displayed within a RelayMonkey widget displayed on the blogger's blog. Per our privacy statement, the e-mail of the signed up reader will never be shared to the blogger.
No resale of service or content
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, cope, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any purposes any portion of the services RelayMonkey provides or gives you access to.
Modifications to and Availability of service
RelayMonkey reserves the right to discontinue all or any aspect of services with our without notice. You agree that RelayMonkey cannot be held liable to you or to any 3rd party for any modification, inaccessibility or discontinuation of this service.
